The Danish company has made its entry into the LNG shipping market with its first order for a pair of liquefied natural gas tankers at the South Korean shipyard in August 2018.

It followed up with a second order for another pair of LNG tankers in January last year.

According to a brief statement by a Celsius Tankers’ official the steel cutting ceremony was held on Friday, January 10.

The vessel, being built under the hull number SN2314, will have the capacity to transport 180,000 cubic meters.
