Siem Sells PSV

Siem Meling Offshore DA has entered into an agreement for the sale of the 2007 built Platform Supply Vessel “Siem Sailor” to a company controlled by O. H. Meling & Co. AS at a price of $49m.

The Siem Sailor is a diesel electric driven supply ship and pipe carrier. It is specially designed for field supply & ROV duties, with low fuel consumption for reduced emission to the environment, low noise and excellent sea-keeping.

The accommodation for 50 persons gives the vessel huge flexibility regarding the work scope.

Siem Meling Offshore DA is 51% owned by Siem Offshore Inc. and 49% owned by a company controlled by O. H. Meling & Co. AS. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in July 2014.
