Sinopec prepares for trial operation of its first LNG terminal

Sinopec of China is set to start trial operation of its first LNG terminal by the end of October. 

It is also expected that the 3.9 million ton per year terminal in Qingdao city receives its first LNG cargo by the end of next month, a company representative told Reuters.

Sinopec already signed a contract with ExxonMobil to import LNG from Papua New Guinea project for the period of 20 years.
