SNC-Lavalin to Provide FEED Study for Zirku Enhancement (UAE)

Canadian engineering and construction giant SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a contract by ZADCO, a joint venture owned by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, ExxonMobil and Japan Oil Development Company, to provide front-end engineering design (FEED) and pre-FEED services for the Zirku Facilities Capacity Enhancement Project in Abu Dhabi.

The project includes the development of two new crude processing trains and the work will be carried out from SNC-Lavalin’s offices in Abu Dhabi, Toronto and Mumbai.

“This is the third contract we have won with ZADCO, and we are excited to have another opportunity to help a valued client strengthen its position in the Middle East oil and gas sector,” said Neil Bruce, President, Resources, Environment & Water, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. “This project presents a range of challenges for which we are particularly well positioned to provide solutions.”
