Solstad Offshore Sells AHTS Vessel

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has entered into a sale agreement for of AHTS vessel “Nor Supporter”, built in 2005. The 8.000 bhp vessel was delivered to its new owner on June 13th 2014.

The company said that the sale will have limited accounting effect but will have a positive cash effect for SOFF of approximately NOK 40 mill (about USD 6.68 million).

Solstad Offshore has 50 fully owned/jointly owned and leased vessels and three ships which are under construction. These three new ships are expected to be delivered in 2014 and 2016.

Most of these vessels are operated from Solstad’s main office in Skudeneshavn, as well as from the branch offices in Aberdeen and Brazil.
