Songa Offshore Names New COO

Songa Offshore SE strengthens its Management Team with the Appointment of Mark Bessell to the position of COO. Bessell will report to CEO Bjornar Iversen and will start in his new position 21st October 2013.

Mark Bessell, has extensive industry and business experience. He commenced in the industry with Sedco and remained with Transocean for over 20 years where he held a number of senior positions within Operations, Projects, Technical and HR. More recently he held Senior Vice President positions with Ocean Rig.
