South Hook awaits another Qatari LNG cargo

The Al Ghuwairiya LNG tanker, with a 263,000 cubic metres capacity, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal from Qatar on September 1, port data reveals.

This will be the first LNG carrier to dock at the import terminal in the month of September.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
