South Hook set for more LNG from Qatar

South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal in the UK is scheduled to receive a cargo of liquefied natural gas at the end of the week.

According to the shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 210,000 cbm LNG carrier Al Khattiya is scheduled to dock at South Hook’s jetty on April 22.

The delivery comes only three days after the Q-Max LNG carrier Mozah unloads at the terminal.

The Al Khattiya LNG carrier was built by the South Korean Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for Nakilat in 2009 and chartered on a long-term deal to Qatargas.

South Hook, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, is able to process 15.6 million tons of LNG per year.
