Spectrum in New Reprocessing Project Offshore Australia

Spectrum has started a new multi-client broadband 3D and 2D reprocessing project in the Otway Basin offshore Australia.

The data set comprises 7,950 km² of 3D data from 16 existing surveys and up to 7,000 km of 2D data which will be reprocessed through a high-end PSTM and PSDM broadband sequence.

This survey will provide an essential tool in conducting regional analysis, tying existing discoveries to the outboard, frontier deeper water region, Spectrum said.

PSTM data will be available for delivery during Q3 2018 with PSDM delivery shortly after.

The project is supported by industry funding.
