Statoil extends charter of Bodil Knudsen shuttle tanker

Norwegian oil company Statoil has extended a charter deal for the Bodil Knutsen shuttle tanker, owned by KNOT Offshore Partners.

This means that Statoil has now exercised the last of two optional years of the time charter for the 2011-built vessel. The firm contract has been extended from May 2017, until May 2019.

Following the declaration of this option, KNOT, who owns, operates and acquires shuttle tankers under long-term charters in the offshore oil production regions of the North Sea and Brazil, has granted Statoil new, five one-year options.
