Statoil: Situation at Snorre A Resolved. Workers Return to Platform

Statoil has informed that cementing of the Snorre A well  in the Norwegian part of the North Sea, where the company on Saturday lost drilling fluid, is completed.

“Favourable weather conditions have allowed unloading and new supply of drilling fluid has arrived on board,” Statoil said in an update.

The personnel who were transferred to Gullfaks will return to Snorre A platform before lunch today, Statoil added.
