The newly created roles see Dave Vernon promoted to Director of Isolation Services and Dale Millward promoted to Director of EPRS & Subsea Services.

The Kintore-based company made the announcement at Subsea Expo 2014 in Aberdeen where Mr Millward is presenting a paper on Emergency Pipeline Repair Isolation Systems (EPRIS) on Thursday at noon and STATS Group are represented at the AECC exhibition on Stand 97. Dave Vernon has been with STATS for 14 years in a range of senior roles and has managed major UKCS and international isolation and intervention projects. Dale Millward joined STATS in 2005 and has been integral in developing the company’s design, development and delivery of pipeline isolation, repair and recovery solutions.

STATS Group chief executive officer, Pete Duguid, said: “Both appointments are a direct result of the steady growth the business has enjoyed in the UK and internationally, and also recognise the important contributions Dave and Dale have made to our operations over the years.

“Dave Vernon has had unlimited exposure to all aspects of our business portfolio and we will put that to good use in supporting and developing our isolation business streams. Dale Millward’s extensive knowledge of subsea construction, commissioning, inspection and repair technologies, positions him as a pipeline and subsea expert who can add value for our clients.

“Both will play key technical roles in liaising with clients on major projects and they will significantly improve our business development initiatives, while their wealth of experience will be used as a global resource that our engineers, technicians and clients can tap into.”

STATS Group is based in Kintore near Aberdeen and employs 200 staff in the UK, Middle East, Canada and USA. The company specialises in the isolation, intervention, repair and testing of pipeline systems and every tool supplied by STATS is designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in-house by its own engineers and technicians.
