STX OSV Orders BWTS for France Telecom Cable Layer, Norway

STX OSV’s H/N 819 is an inhouse design STX 01 OCL under construction for France Telecom Marine, for which PG was contracted to deliver a PG-Hyde GUARDIAN HG 150 Ballast Water Treatment system, and a package of utility- and engine room pumps.

Another optional vessel is also covered by the agreement.

The Hyde GUARDIAN™ Ballast Water Treatment System is a fully automated two stage treatment process:

1st Stage – Disc filtration

2nd Stage – UV disinfection

The Hyde GUARDIAN™ uses no chemicals or active substances.
