STX Vietnam Hands Over AHTS Skandi Pacific to Aker DOF Deepwater

Aker DOF Deepwater a joint venture between DOF and Aker Solutions has taken delivery of Skandi Pacific at STX Vietnam.

The Skandi Pacific is a new generation high powered anchor handling vessel designed for field installation operations across a wide range of water depths and environmental conditions. The vessel is an AHTS of STX AH 08 design and is vessel number five in a series of six vessels from the same yard.

DWT: 3000T

bollard pull: 192T

Skandi Pacific will after delivery start on a 90 days contract + options for BP in Vietnam.
