Sunlit Sea updates floating solar project planner with layout suggestions

Norwegian company Sunlit Sea has added new functionality to its online floating solar project planner, enabling users to generate layout suggestions within a defined area. The tool provides an overview of the number of floats required to reach a specific project capacity.

The company described the planner as still being in beta, with further features expected in upcoming updates.

“We’ve made it easy to plan your floating solar projects on our website. Our ‘planner’ module now has support for suggesting layouts within a designated area so you can get a clear picture of how many floats you need for a given project capacity. The planner is still in beta, and lots of more exciting features are underway,” Sunlit Sea said.
