Taiwan - Naming Ceremony for Yang Ming's New Vessel

YM Unanimity, an 8,626 TEU full-container vessel built for Yang Ming by CSBC CORP., TAIWAN, was delivered and named at a ceremony held at CSBC Kaohsiung Shipyard on October 19, 2012. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Frank Lu, Chairman of Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp., and Mr. Robert Lai, Chairperson of CSBC CORP., TAIWAN. Mrs. Chung Yin, the Chairman of Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) Limited, was invited to sponsor the new ship.

YM Unanimity has adopted the advanced designs of environmental protection to enhance her green competitiveness and marine-protection reputation. Moreover, the new ship features fuel-saving and high capacity. While upgrading its fleet, Yang Ming keeps contributing to environmental protection accommodating customers’ demands and providing ever better service. Yang Ming has never ceased to improve its customer service as well as its effort of environmental sustainable development.

YM Unanimity is to be deployed in the NE1 Service (Asia–North Europe). Her ports of call are in this order: Shanghai–Ningbo–Hong Kong–Nansha–Hamburg–Rotterdam–Felixstowe–Suez/El Suweis–Singapore–Hongkong–Shanghai.
