Technip to Provide Flexible Pipe Services for Norwegian Projects

France-based Technip has been awarded a three-year framework contract for the design, fabrication and supply of flexible pipe products for projects in Norway by Statoil.

The framework contract will be executed by the group’s operating centre in Oslo, Norway. It covers the supply of flexible risers, flowlines and associated equipment.

The flexible pipe will be fabricated at Technip’s plant in Le Trait, France.

Technip is a provider of project management, engineering, and construction services for the oil and gas industry, headquartered in La Défense, France. The company designs and builds high-technology industrial installations, such as subsea equipment and platforms, and onshore mega-complexes for the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors.
