TEPCO: LNG Imports Down in January (Japan)

Japan’s Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) said its liquefied natural gas imports in January declined 2.9 percent to 2.15 million tons.

TEPCO used 2.13 million tons of LNG in January, up 0.6 percent compared to a year before.

The company recently revealed that it plans to use 23.82 million tons of LNG in fiscal 2012.
