Tersan Shipyard Opts for Nupas-Cadmatic Design Software

Tersan Shipyard, Turkey, one of the leading shipyards in Turkey, has chosen Nupas-Cadmatic for their ship design and engineering.

The shipyard has purchased the full Nupas-Cadmatic software suite including basic design, structural, outfitting, production and nesting licenses. With a total of well over 20 licenses the shipyard will implement the Nupas-Cadmatic software in the entire company simultaneously.

Their ability to combine punctual delivery and high quality encouraged Tersan to focus on more specialized vessels. The company is now happy to see steadily increasing orders in their orderbook for challenging newbuilding projects that include supply vessels, fishing vessels, ferries, tugboats and complex tailor made state-of-the-art newbuilding projects.

Tersan is currently expanding by adding a new floating dock at their existing Yalova premises. It will also expand in the southern part of Turkey where they will soon start serving the VLCC market.

Nupas-Cadmatic will assist the shipyard in achieving its expansion plans and to become an even bigger player in the Turkish and global market.
