Tokyo Gas Completes Construction on Chiba-Kashima Line

Tokyo Gas said it has today completed the construction of “Chiba-Kashima Line”.

The Line will start supplying gas to customers from the middle of March onward.

The Line has been constructed since July, 2006, with a view to promoting and expanding the use of natural gas in both the northeastern part of Chiba Pref. and the southeastern part of Ibaraki Pref., where a supply infrastructure of natural gas has not been installed yet. The completion of the Line has enabled the industrial customers along the Line and in Kashima waterfront industrial zone in Ibaraki Pref., and the surrounding gas suppliers, to make use of natural gas.
