Tokyo Gas: Daily Supply Volume Hits Record

Tokyo Gas of Japan said its daily gas supply volume on Wednesday was 59.05 million cubic meters, which has broken the past record of 57.29 million cubic meters.

“As the weather on Wednesday, January 15th was cloudy, and the average temperature of January 15th was 3.0 degrees Celsius, 3.1 degrees below the average year, the demand for space and heating water was increased,” the company said in a statement.

“In addition, the largest daily gas supply was recorded due to the development of new demands following the commencement of new trunk lines and to the increased demand for power generation, etc.,” Tokyo Gas added.
