1) Cove Point Liquefaction Project Moving Forward, USA

Dominion announced it has reached three major milestones in its Dominion Cove Point LNG liquefaction project, pushing it to the forefront among proposed North American LNG liquefaction projects.

2) Technip, JGC Win Yamal LNG Contract, Russia

Technip, leader of a consortium with JGC, was awarded by JSC Yamal LNG, owned by NOVATEK (80%) and TOTAL (20%), a contract to carry out the engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning of an integrated facility for natural gas liquefaction.

3) Australia: Huge FLNG Project Planned by Exxon and BHP

Exxon Mobil and partner BHP Billiton are planning to develop the world’s biggest floating LNG project offshore Western Australia in the Scarborough field, according to a filing with Australia’s environment department.

4) VIDEO: Propane Chiller Unit Arrives at QCLNG Site (Australia)

The Queensland Curtis LNG Project has marked another milestone with delivery of the biggest component of its liquefied natural gas plant on Curtis Island near Gladstone.

5) USA: Stabilis Energy to Build Five LNG Plants

Stabilis Energy LLC plans to build five LNG liquefaction facilities to service the high horsepower oilfield, marine, and rail fuel markets.
