1. Lockheed Martin, Victorian Wave Partners Team Up for World’s Largest Wave Energy Project

Lockheed Martin announced that it has signed a contract with Victorian Wave Partners Ltd. to begin developing the world’s largest wave energy project announced to date. This is a significant step toward making ocean energy commercially available.

2. Forum Energy Technologies to Supply Eight ROVs to Subsea 7

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. announced that it received an order from Subsea 7 S.A. to supply eight work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems. The ROVs will be delivered through late 2014 and 2015.

3. Combinatie Croon Bakker Secures Order for Subsea 7′s Pipe Laying Vessels

Combinatie Croon Bakker (CCB), a Croon Elektrotechniek and Bakker Sliedrecht joint venture, secured an order from Subsea 7 for delivery of the complete electrical installations, propulsion and automation for three new Pipe Laying Vessels.

4. Subsea 7′s OSV Seven Osprey Drydocked at A&P Tyne

A&P Tyne drydocked Seven Osprey, an offshore support vessel from Subsea 7’s fleet, on February 8th.

5. Solstad Announces Sale of Two Vessels

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF), a major player in deepwater, subsea and construction related activities, entered into agreement to sell two vessels to international buyers.
