1. Saipem Rig Perro Negro 6 Sinks Offshore Angola

Saipem informs that last night, July 1, the jack up drilling rig Perro Negro 6, due to the collapsing of the seabed under one of the three legs, suddenly tilted and suffered hull damages, causing water intake.

2. PSA Investigates Incident on DSV Skandi Arctic in North Sea

An investigation has been launched by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway into a serious incident on diving support vessel Skandi Arctic on 22 June 2013.

3. Saipem: Search for Missing Person on Perro Negro 6 Incident Underway

Saipem, regarding the incident that occurred on July 1st to the jack up drilling rig Perro Negro 6, which was operating between the coasts of Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, near the mouth of the Congo River, announces the following updates: the search for the missing person, of Bulgarian nationality, is currently under way and being carried out by the emergency authorities.

4. PETRONAS Carigali Incorporates New Subsidiary VESTIGO Petroleum Sdn Bhd

PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary, VESTIGO Petroleum Sdn Bhd, to focus on Development and Production activities from small, marginal and mature fields in Malaysia and abroad.

5. Aker Solutions Bags Its Largest UK Subsea Contract

Aker Solutions has won a contract worth up to USD 440 million (approximately NOK 2.7 billion) to deliver the subsea production system for an oil field development in the UK North Sea.
