Tractebel Opens New Office in India

With the aim to strengthen the local presence, Tractebel Engineering has opened a new office in Chennai (India) to give an answer to the needs of the power market in Southern India.

The new office will cater to the needs of the power market in Southern India, with a focus on Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerela and Andhra Pradesh market.

On the occasion of the inauguration, Mr. Sunil Mehra, Chairman and Managing Director Tractebel Engineering (India) said: “By opening the new office, we have realized our long-term strategic goal of expanding business in Southern India. As our business has continued to grow across the country in Gas and Power sector, we recognized the importance of local presence for our customers in Southern India, with a higher degree of service.”

This is the fourth fully operational office of Tractebel Engineering in India after New Delhi, Gandhinagar and Hyderabad.

“The office will be a harbinger of our growth and we aim to build expertise in this region” added Mr. Mehra.
