Trelleborg to Exhibit Subsea Skills (UK)

The sealing specialist is helping oilfield operators “stay ahead of the game” in the quest to drill deeper, providing high-integrity sealing solutions able to stand up to the extreme operating pressures and temperatures of deep-water locations.

The global developer and manufacturer of sealing and bearing products will showcase its range of innovative products, which are aiding deep sea oil and gas harvesting, at the upcoming events:

– Deep Offshore Technology International at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, October 14-16, at stand D17;

– Element Oilfield Engineering with Polymers at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, London, October 21-23, 2014 at stand 01.

David Brown, who heads up the global offshore oil and gas segment for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, said: “Subsea seals are the main source of prevention of hydrocarbon leakage from oilfield completion or production equipment and as such, perform a vital role in meeting environmental and workforce safety concerns, in addition to enhancing performance of the tools themselves.

“We have developed application-specific seal designs to provide high-integrity sealing able to stand up to the extreme operating temperatures and pressures of deep-water locations. Our cutting-edge technology is contributing to the future of oil and gas harvesting and allowing oilfield operators to stay ahead of the game.

“Our attendance at these two UK-based events is a demonstration of Trelleborg’s ‘global reach, local presence’ commitment – the events attract a global audience and attendees will have the opportunity to discuss sealing requirements with Trelleborg engineers from their local territories.”
