Trinidad Ships LNG Cargo to Brazil

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of liquefied natural gas to Brazil on Monday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the 135,423 m3 tanker Madrid Spirit, and it is due to arrive at Brazil’s Guanabara Bay LNG terminal on September 29.

The Point Fortin terminal is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the terminal consists of four trains.

It has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
