Although the construction of the Vessel will take place abroad, the contract will be of great value to many Norwegian suppliers. Approximately 50% of the contract value is related to Norwegian equipment and services.

The new Vessel is a completely new version of the ST-259 design. Its main dimensions are 128 x 25m. Through its designation “Arctic”, it is obvious that the Vessel is specially designed for operations in arctic waters, with significant ice class, ROV moonpools and de-icing. The vessel is further fitted with a 300t offshore crane, 120 pax accommodation and triple redundant propulsion systems.

Time of delivery is set to Q4/2015.
