Due to begin this quarter, the contract will see TWMA provide specialist drill cuttings management services in line with Abu Dhabi’s zero discharge regulatory requirements.

Facilitated using offshore jack-up rigs and TWMA’s skip and ship services with support from the company’s EfficientC™ cuttings containment and distribution solutions, the contract will run for three years initially, with the option of two one-year extensions.

TWMA’s managing director, Ronnie Garrick, said: “Our cuttings management services have been developed carefully over time, enabling us to lead the way in the drilling sector and provide excellent results around the world.”

“We are delighted to be able to work for such a pioneering petroleum company in the region, allowing us to guarantee the safe collection, handling and storage of oil based cuttings. “

“Our team is looking forward to the commencement of operation under this contract next month. Not only does this bolster our position as we endeavour to broaden our experience, but also works to underpin our continued commitment to the Middle East. “

TWMA’s ADMA-OPCO contract will be supported by its base; located in the Mussafah Industrial Area of Abu Dhabi. Twenty-four of TWMA’s personnel will directly work on the contract, with a secondary team of up to twenty staff providing assistance.
