U.S. offshore weekly rig count flat at 27 active units

The U.S. offshore weekly rig count has remained unchanged from the previous week, but the overall U.S. rig count, including onshore rigs, fell to 476 units, Baker Hughes revealed in its report on Friday.


 

BHI Rig Count: U.S. -4 to 476 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 4 rigs from last week to 476, with oil rigs up 1 to 387, and gas rigs down 5 to 89.

U.S. Rig Count is down 593 rigs from last year at 1,069, with oil rigs down 438, gas rigs down 153, and miscellaneous rigs down 2.
The U.S. Offshore rig count is 27, unchanged from last week, and down 10 rigs year over year.


BHI Rig Count: Canada -29 to 69 rigs

Canadian Rig Count is down 29 rigs from last week to 69, with oil rigs down 16 to 12, and gas rigs down 13 to 57.

Canadian Rig Count is down 71 rigs from last year at 140, with oil rigs down 18, and gas rigs down 53.
