ADPC to Showcase Its Award Winning Projects at IWS

As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable development, Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) will showcase its award winning projects at the International Water Summit (IWS) 2013, part of the World Future Energy Summit, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

On the second day of the conference, Tony Douglas, CEO, ADPC, will chair a panel discussion on the issue of water scarcity. The half-hour session entitled: “Understanding how an arid region may continue sustainable growth and economic development despite scarcity challenges,” will run from 11:30am – 12:00pm, on 16th January.

Panellists include Anthony Cox, Head of Division Environment and Economy Integration, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD); Harry Seah, Chief Technical Officer, Public Utilities Board, Singapore; and Dr. Uschi Eid, Vice Chair to UN Secretary General Advisory Board on Water.
