UK: Red7Marine Invests in Jack-Up Barge ‘Haven Seariser 2’

Red7Marine recently announced the investment in the seventh Jack-up barge called “Haven Seariser 2”.

Key features of the vessel are:

– Modular design with overal dimensions of 29.3m x 17m x 2.44m.

– The vessel has a maximum deck load capacity of 250 tonnes and a point load capacity of 5 tonnes per square metre.

– Individual spud legs with a total of 36 metres in length, made up of three jointed lengths of 12 metres.

The combined features of sectioned spud legs and the individual modular units, based on standard ISO containers, provides customers with tangible benefit of assisting Red7Marine in keeping mobilisation costs to a minimum.

Together with the sister vessel “Haven Seariser 1”, these two units are the largest in the current line up of self elevating platforms and enable Red7Marine to continue supporting its clients ever changing needs.

“Haven Seariser 2” goes into immediate operation on a three year term project as a safe and secure working platform for the new building and maintenance of numerous RNLI stations around the UK coastline.

This significant investment is a further demonstration of Red7Marine’s commitment to maintaining its position as a leading national and international operator in the marine civil engineering, marine plant and equipment, diving and offshore energy sectors.
