UK: Sunseeker Builds New Flagship Tri-deck 155 Yacht
Sunseeker, a manufacturer of the world’s finest luxury motoryachts, is building a new flagship tri-deck 155 Yacht. With a 4500 nautical mile range, this newbuild accounts for the first ever semi-displacement, round bilge and long keel hull from Sunseeker.
The Sunseeker 155 Yacht is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests and 10 crew members reaching the top speed of 26 knots. A range at a slower cruise speed should be 4,500 nautical miles. She measures 47.25 meters with the beam set for 9.40m. Sunseeker has not specified the engine package however a safe bet MTUs will be installed based on other megayacht models in its lineup.
The Sunseeker 155 Yacht will be RINA classed and she will meet MCA LY2 requirements.
The first three-deck luxury yacht will have 40% more interior volume thus she will surpass the Sunseeker 40 Metre Yacht as the flagship of the fleet. She is planned to be launched in 2014.
