Universal Foundation Gets New Managing Director

Universal Foundation, a Fred. Olsen related company, has appointed Kristian Ravn as managing director this month.

He joins comes from the position of managing director at EPCI offshore oil and gas contractor Semco Maritime Norway.

“I have a strong belief in the Mono Bucket and have been impressed with the professionalism and drive of Universal Foundation during the years of development, design and testing of this innovative product,” Kristian Ravn said.

“I am sure that the technology will provide a strong contribution in bringing down costs for offshore wind farms, at the same time reducing risks and environmental impact.”

Ravn started his career at MT Højgaard before spending ten years at ABB, starting in 2003 as a structural engineer and working his way up to vice president of the Denmark business unit.
