USA: Anne M. McEntee Appointed VP of Dresser for GE Energy Services

 

GE today announces the appointment of  new company officer. GE currently has 194 GE officers globally. GE officers lead large revenue generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Anne M. McEntee, 40, has been appointed vice president of Dresser for GE Energy Services, a business within GE Energy. In this role, Anne will be responsible for developing and executing a growth strategy to position the division, which was recently acquired by GE, for future growth. The business segment designs and manufactures pressure and control valves, and measurement, regulation and control solutions.

The 13-year GE veteran has worked and advanced through a series of increasingly responsible assignments in quality, manufacturing/operations and sourcing within GE Energy.

Prior to her current role, Anne was the general manager of Power Services for GE Energy Services, where she led the division’s global growth and expansion into India, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. She has also held the role of general manager for GE Energy’s Quality organization where she was responsible for managing and deploying GE Energy’s quality strategy, including Six Sigma with a strong emphasis on Lean methodology.

Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, a master’s degree in mathematics, and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, each from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
