 Contracts Awarded to Repair Missouri River Levee System

The Kansas City District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded two more contracts to repair flood damage to levees along the Missouri River.

A contract was awarded to Cajun Constructors, Inc. of Baton Rouge, La., on Feb. 9 for approximately $1.9 million to repair the Missouri River Levee System 455L (Buchanan County, Mo.) and 471-460R (Buchanan and Doniphan counties).

A contract was awarded to TJC Engineering, Inc. of Louisville, Ky., on Feb. 10 for approximately $920,000 to repair the Bean Lake Levee in Platte County.

A total of five contracts have been awarded to date in the lower Missouri River Basin to repair flood damages from 2011 flooding.
