NBBB Kicks Off Construction of Harley Marine's Tug No.2

Construction of Harley Tug No.2 has begun at Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB). Harley Marine Services recently placed an order at NBBB construction of two 100 ft x 40 ft, Z-drive, ship-assist tractor tugs.

Following Tug No. 1 in construction Tug No. 2 for Harley Marine Services is scheduled for delivery in July 2013. Currently NBBB is in the design and construction phase of this project.

Main engines – Two (2) Caterpillar 3516C Diesel Engines

Propulsion – Rolls Royce Z-Drives (producing 90+ Ton Bollard Pull for exceptional maneuverability)

The delivery of the second tug is scheduled for mid-summer 2013.
