USA: Thirty-One LNG Cargoes Imported in Jan-Apr

The U.S. imported thirty-one liquefied natural gas cargoes or 88.570.948 Mcf in January-April period, according to the U.S. Department of Energy data.

The cargoes were shipped from Qatar, Trinidad,Yemen, Egypt and Norway.

The U.S. imported three liquefied natural gas cargoes in April.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report that LNG imports are expected to decline by 0.3 Bcf/d (28 percent) in 2012.
