Venture Global files resource report with FERC

Venture Global LNG informed that it has submitted Resource Report 13 to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for its natural gas liquefaction and export facility on Calcasieu Pass, Cameron Parish, Louisianna.

Resource reports are required regulatory filings that detail all of the environmental and engineering components and designs of proposed energy projects. Draft versions are submitted during the pre-filing stage of project development, pending the submission of a formal application, the company informed in a statement.

Venture Global also said it remains on track to submit its final FERC application in August 2015. This submission will mark another milestone in the company’s plan to receive the permits and approvals to begin the construction and operation of its planned 10 MTPA LNG export facility.
