VIDEO: A Rescue Story from the Sea

The sea is often unrelenting and unforgiving which for those braving the stormy waters proved to be very dangerous even life-threatening.

However, it takes enormous courage and determination to be able to help those vessels stricken at sea in reaching safer waters.

The following video gives you a taste of what it really takes to conduct a rescue operation against all odds.

The video shows AHTS vessel Tor Viking II rushed to provide an emergency tow to bulk carrier Golden Seas in the Bering Sea north of Atka in the Aleutian islands in 2010.
