Widseth Smith Nolting (WSN), an engineering, architecture, land surveying and environmental company, has just released a video about the sediment dredging operations on Goose Lake, located near Kellogg, MN.

The removal of this material is aimed to improve fish habitat and boat access, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

The project, which began the first week of August, involved removal of about 3 to 4 feet of sediment from an eight-acre area of Goose Lake in the northern part of Weaver Bottoms.

WSN was hired to provide a pre-dredge survey and periodic quantity surveys to measure the progress of the dredging operation.
