VIDEO: Höegh Grace Arrives in Colombia

The Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) Höegh Grace, owned by Norwegian-based Höegh LNG, has been installed at a terminal in the port of Cartagena in Colombia.

The FSRU is now ready to receive the commissioning cargo and to enter the commissioning phase, leading up to the start of commercial operations under the long-term charter contract with Sociedad Portuaria El Cayao S.A. E.S.P. (SPEC), planned for early December 2016.

Höegh LNG had already established a local office in Cartagena to ensure “a smooth transition” to the operations phase for the group’s sixth FSRU project.

The Höegh Grace was employed as an LNG carrier (LNGC) under a contract with Trafigura until September 2016.

The 170,000 cubic meter Höegh Grace was built by South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries in 2016.

Featuring a length of 294.1 meters and a width of 46 meters, the 109,844 gross ton vessel has a Mark III membrane containment system and a Wärtsila-Hyundai DFDE engine.
