VIDEO: Launching Ceremony for Seven Waves Pipe Layer

Dutch company IHC Merwede has released a video of a ship launching ceremony held at its shipyard in Krimpen aan den IJsell, The Netherlands.

The vessel, named SEVEN WAVES, is owned by Subsea 7. The naming ceremony for the  550t pipelaying vessel, was carried out by Lucia Andrade, the ship’s God Mother and Subsea 7 Brazil’s Vice President Projects & Operations.
