Vietnam: HVS Holds Naming Ceremony for Handymax Bulker NORD SHANGHAI

Today, in an atmosphere full of joy and happiness, Hull No. S063, 37.000 DWT Bulk Carrier has been named “NORD SHANGHAI”, completing D/S Norden A/S project at Hyundai-Vinashin Shipyard. At the ceremony, President Mr. Y. H. Lee, representative of the yard and owner representative Mr. Christian Ingerslev gave their speeches.

In addition, Mr. Ingerslev sincerely expressed his appreciation to the workers for their hard work in building such a high quality vessel and moreover, the win-win development.

After that , all distinguished guests together with the proudest participating in the naming ceremony embarked on the vessel and prayed her for bon voyage by horn blasting.

It is known that Delivery Signing of “NORD SHANGHAI” will take place on October 15th 2012, after finishing some remaining works.
