Vietnam: STX OSV Hands Over Newly Developed PSV Far Sitella

Vietnamese-based STX OSV Vung Tau shipyard delivered, 5 February, platform supply vessel Far Sitella of STX PSV08 CD design to Farstad Shipping Pte. Ltd in Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of Farstad Shipping ASA.

The PSV 08 CD is a newly developed, medium sized, diesel electric PSV with a deck area of approx. 800 sq. m. The vessel design was developed in close co-operation between STX Europe and Farstad Shipping. The overall length of the vessel is 81.7 meters with a beam of 18.0 meters.

Upon arrival in Australia, the vessel will commence its long term commitment to Shell Australia related to their Prelude drilling campaign.
