Wasa Scores Sommarøy Dredging Gig
Wasa Dredging, a marine offshore and inland water construction company operating mainly in Scandinavia and the Baltic region, and the Norwegian Coastal Administration (Kystverket) have signed a contract for the Sommarøy channel dredging works.
The project consists of underwater rock blasting (40.000 m³), blasted rock dredging (90.000 m³) and soil dredging (180.000 m³).
The contract also includes covering of polluted soil with clean soil, the building of a rock bank for storing of contaminated masses as well as dredging of contaminated masses and relocation of these into a storage depot.
