The vessel has set off from the Novatek-operated Yamal LNG facility in the Russian Arctic on August 8.

Earlier this month, Novatek shipped its first cargo of liquefied natural gas from the second production unit at the Yamal LNG project.

The shipping data shows that the carrier with the capacity to transport 172,600 cubic meters of the chilled fuel is scheduled to arrive at Zeebrugge on Saturday, August 25.

In 2015, the Fluxys-operated terminal was selected by Yamal LNG as transshipment hub under a long-term deal. The contract includes an annual transshipment of about 107 LNG cargoes.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
