Yemen LNG Confirms Explosion at Balhaf Terminal

Yemen LNG confirmed that on Friday, at around 16 hours, a minor explosion occurred inside the Balhaf Plant.

There were no casualties and the explosion caused only slight damage to non-essential equipment, the company said in a statement.

The Balhaf Plant remains operational and production uninterrupted. Yemen LNG has initiated an investigation as to the cause of the explosion, it added.
