Zenith clinches Tullow, Total contracts

An Aberdeen-based well management firm has secured agreements with two leading independent oil & gas exploration and production groups.

Zenith Energy, which was established in 2012, has agreed a three year non-exclusive deal with London-based, Tullow Oil, which has over 140 exploration and production licences across 24 countries, to provide a variety of well engineering services on an ad-hoc basis.

The independent well engineering and project management company based at Regent Quay, has also been awarded a contract by Total E&P to prepare and deliver High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) well control training to the offshore Total teams for a well to be drilled on the Rowan Gorilla V rig on the Elgin field in the North Sea.

Managing director of Zenith Energy, Martin Booth, said: “Agreeing these recent contracts with Tullow Oil and Total E&P is a major achievement for the firm and reflects our growth and capabilities within the industry. The Tullow contract will be on-going, enabling us to provide a wide range of services and further showcase our expertise within our well engineering team. ”

Zenith Energy, which has over 100 years of professional experience in the industry, has also promoted Chris Collie to operations director to oversee and develop the firm’s services and expanding workforce of 14.
