2H Offshore Marks Milestone Anniversary in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia)

2H Offshore, an Acteon company, celebrates five years of working in Kuala Lumpur last month. The employees of the Kuala Lumpur office marked their milestone anniversary with a special teambuilding event at Taman Negara National Park in Pahang, where they took part in activities from canopy walking to rafting on the Sungai Trenggan River.

The company’s Malaysia office was established in 2006 and its success has led the company to turn it into an Asia Pacific headquaters and open an office in Beijing to cater for the growing demand for riser specialists in countries such as China, India, Dubai, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar and the rest of the south east Asia region.

Recent project successes include the Chevron Bangka SCR FEED and key clients include Murphy, Shell, Talisman, Petrofac, Reliance and CNOOC amongst other independent operators in the region. The Beijing office is currently working closely with operators and universities on research and development projects in China.

2H Offshore in Kuala Lumpur has grown to a total of 20 employees, plus four more in the Beijing office, over the last five years.

Frank Lim, Principal Director, comments, “With over five years presence in the region, 2H is now a household name for many operators and contractors and is well poised to provide support on the many upcoming shallow and deepwater developments as well as assist drilling contractors and operators on exploration activities.
